Ervin Gustav Holle was born on March 29, 1929 to Otto and Marie Osterloh Holle, of Pierce City, Missouri. He was brought up in Trinity Lutheran Church, Freistatt, Mo., where he was baptized April 7,1929, and married Patricia Ann Rusch December 21, 1951. After owning a gas station in Pierce City, he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Roswell, New Mexico. After discharge, he and his wife moved to Dallas in 1956 to attend Southern Methodist University where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1959. After graduation, he accepted employment with Geotech Teledyne, working with seismic observatories, followed by a career in investments and commercial real estate. He was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church since 1956, as well as a life time member of Kiwanis International.
He is survived by his brother, Eldred Holle, sister, Lora Worm, sister-in-law, Gloria Rusch and her husband, Bobby Austin, his daughters, Tamera Ardrey and Dale Holle Troxell and families, and numerous nieces and nephews.
