Essie Lavelle White

Essie Lavelle White, age 99 of Ft. Worth, Texas passed away on July 6 2020. She was born in Keeter, Texas on March 5, 1921 to Thomas and Icie Wilson. Lavelle graduated from Boyd High School. She was married on September 30, 1939 to Lee A. White.
Lavelle worked as an Administrative assistant for Sears & Roebuck and Manpower. She was also a stay at home mother for her son.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a talented seamstress who enjoying crocheting and knitting. She had won awards for entries placed into State Fair Texas over the years for seamstress skills/creations.
Lavelle is survived by her son; Robert White and wife, Kathy of Arlington, Texas. Grandchildren; Kelsey Crouse and husband, Kyle of Ft. Worth and Michael White of Arlington. The pride of her life, great grandson; Parker Crouse along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her husband; Lee A. White, brothers; Marvin Wilson and William Wilson of California, sisters; Belva Bridges, Vera Schafer, Pauline White and Thelma Locke of Texas.
