Esther Dávila Rivera, age 63, passed away on July 17, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on May 11, 1955 in Colotlán, Jalisco to Jose Dávila Avila and Cornelia Rivera de Dávila. Esther was raised in Colotlán, Jalisco but lived in Dallas most of her life.
In her spare time Esther enjoyed spending time with family, especially with her three daughters and granddaughters. She loved cooking for the family, dancing, making jokes and word searches.
Her family and friends will always remember Esther as a genuine, loving, loyal, helpful and patient person. She was very humble, always offered unconditional love and support. She was a very classy, very well presented person who never got out of bed without her heels. Although she had three daughters of her own, there were many whom looked up to her as a mother figure.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Dávila Avila. She is survived by her daughters, Hortensia E. Perez, Cornelia Y. Perez and Gabriela Perez; her granddaughters, Natalyn Hernandez, Savannah Rocha, Camila Rocha and siblings Jose Luis Dávila, David Dávila, Luz Dávila, Carlos Dávila, Refugio Dávila, Jorge Dávila and Rosario Dávila.
