Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, December 16, 2019 at Cathedral Guadalupe at 2215 Ross Ave, Dallas Tx 75201. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
Esther Lara Williams was born in Lubbock, Tx to Rafael and Beatrice Lara on Oct. 31, 1946. She was a beautiful woman who was an extraordinary mother, sister, wife and friend. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and adored each of them as well as all of her nieces and nephews and cousins. She was devoted to her Catholic religion and loved giving to her church, St. Williams, in Greenville, Tx as well as other Catholic charities.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Beatrice Lara, her brother Benito, her sister Josephine, and nieces, Monica and Carolina and Tina.
Esther is survived by her husband, Lew Williams; two daughters, Monica Marshall and Dena Bell; four brothers, David Lara and wife, Helen, Rafael Lara Jr and wife, Libby, Pete Lara and wife, Maria, Benjamin Lara and wife, Sara, and four sisters, Sarah Lara Anderson, Dolores Lara, Elizabeth Lara and Mary Ann Sherman and husband, Mike; 7 loving grandchildren, Micah and Kalvin Marshall and Austin, Justin, Grayson, Kathryn and Dylan Bell; 25 nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
We ask that you continue to pray for her as she is reunited with her family in heaven and finally with her Lord and Savior.
