"Nothing Gold Can Stay"
by Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Evan Don Woodward meant so much too so many people. He was a brother, a son, a cousin, a grandson, a nephew, a friend, a boyfriend, but above all Evan was himself. He didn’t care who was around, he always spoke his mind. He had a wild imagination and he was full of the most random facts. Not only was he creative but he was so talented. He was always up to try new things; no matter what it was, he was great at it. Evan loved skateboarding, playing football, and being with his friends and family. Evan was so determined, therefore he never gave up. When he fell down he got back up. He was an amazing artist and he truly loved drawing. Our family used to joke around that Evan had a super immune system. He rarely got sick and when he did it never lasted long. He was our little superhero. He was perfect. Now we have him watching over us. Evan will be missed so terribly. We love you bubbah. Forever and always, Rest in Paradise.
Your loving sisters,
Kathryn, Deborah, and Maryjane
