Evelyn Bridges beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend went to be with the Lord December 5, 2017. She is survived by her son: David Bridges, Daughters: Jan Whitley and husband Joe, Toni Martin and husband Randy; 2 Grandsons: Tony LaRocca and wife Lauren, and James LaRocca; 2 Granddaughters: Alex Bridges and Aleese McMahen and husband Casey; 3 Great Grandchildren Jude and Penny LaRocca and Erik Bridges.
A lifelong resident of Dallas, Evelyn was a graduate of Highland Park. She loved gardening, traveling, playing games and spending time with her family. She retired from Lovers Lane Methodist Church after 16 years of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lovers Lane Methodist Church Outreach Program.
Evelyn was filled with God’s grace, whose light shined through her always.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church Wesley Chapel.
