I was really shocked when I searched the Dallas Morning News obituary's and found her name in it, but a little voice inside me told me to look and I was praying that it wasn't there. Evelyn was a neighbor and a dear friend of mine, I just found out today 9/2/2014 of her passing, Evelyn was one of the sweetest and most caring people I've known in my life, she was always there to help me if I need her, I was shocked to find out she had passed away, I've been sending her e-mails since her birthday and thought to my self that it wasn't normal to have not heard from her, she was apart of my family instead of just a good friend. Evelyn my dear, I will miss you greatly and keep you in my heart, thoughts and prayers forever, I'm sorry that I didn't know sooner that you were gone, thank you for being a friend and part of my life an family....I Love You & will miss you !!! I was so sad to hear that my "soul sister" had passed...I will miss our late night talks..and the adventure continues

I enjoyed my time with Evelyn. We went dancing, and went to the Texas State Fair. Then there was the Elvis night. I spoke to her about one month ago. I am so sad and if there is a memorial for her, my husband and her friends from The Reserve would like to attend. Beautiful woman.

I am sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Evelyn, she seemed to be really enjoying retirement and be so happy. I will always remember the smile on her face that day.

My heart and prayers go out to Marie and her family for their loss.  I first met her mother at Marie and Ron's wedding and had several opportunities to see her when she came to Fort Worth to visit.  I'm glad they had opportunities to spend time together and these are the memories that Marie will hold on to.  May these memories give Marie some comfort and something to cherish of her mother.

Evelyn will be dearly missed at the U.S. Trustee's office.

Loving memories will always linger of a dear and beloved friend of almost fifty years. Evelyn brought joy and laughter to those who knew her, and will be deeply and forever missed. My heartfelt condolences to her family.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I had come with Marie on several occasions to visit her Mother and I enjoyed meeting Evelyn and talking with her.
