Evelyn Stell Harris, age 93, of Dallas, Texas passed away August 11, 2015. Born August 30, 1921 in Paris, Texas to James W. and Janie Hightower Stell. Moved to Dallas in 1944 and worked forty-eight years for Neiman Marcus. She was a member of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church; Order of the Eastern Star; Daughters of the Nile and The Social Order of the Beauceant. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband William Harris, four brothers and three sisters. Survived by brother, George Stell; sons Jim Dawson (Sally), Tom Dawson (Susan) and Jerry Harris (Melanie); grandchildren Cherie Dawson Hoover (Weston), Jeff Dawson (Meaghan), Gina Dawson Marquet (Tom), Ryan Harris (Kristen) and Melissa Harris; six great grandchildren, several special nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. Services will be Saturday, August 22, 10:00 a.m. at Sparkman Hillcrest, 7405 W. Northwest Highway. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Scottish Rite Hospital.
