Evelyn Huston

Evelyn Huston, 93, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Denzil F. Huston (he and Evelyn married in Oklahoma City in1942). Evelyn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, August 23, 1918; her parents being Harry and Carolyn Thurmond Dumbauld. She was an Oklahoma University graduate; member James Campbell Chapter Daughters American Republic; worked for Dallas Independent School District in the Administration Offices; Evelyn loved her "Travel with Carol" touring group 1992 - 2007 and loved her trips to Alaska, National Parks and especially just going through the country sides; of course Evelyn was an avid O.U. football fan and dearly loved the Texas Rangers.

Survivors are daughter Carol A. Iwanski, grandchildren, Jiri Prevratil III and Julie A. Clawson; great-granddaughter Erin Clawson.

Visitation, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service, 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the Chapel of Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home.

Interment 1:00 pm, Friday, June 8th at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
