Evelyn Ledesma Llarena

Evelyn L. Llarena, 81, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on January 24, 2022. She was born in the Philippines on October 3, 1940. Evelyn graduated from National University – Manila and received a B.S. in Chemistry.

Evelyn worked as a teacher at Divine Word College in Legazpi, Philippines where she taught mathematics and physics. In Dallas, she worked at C.C. Young as a nurse and then as the business manager for Dr. Corazon L. Llarena, M.D. medical office. In her spare time, Evelyn loved to travel. She was a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church for 37 years and attended mass daily.

Evelyn is survived by her siblings, Romeo & Milagros Llarena, Francisco L. Llarena, and Dr. Corazon L. Llarena; nephew, Romel Llarena and wife Debbie; niece, Mia Llarena and husband Raymond Angara; as well and many other nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM, with a rosary at 5:30 PM. On Wednesday, February 2, 2022 a rosary will be prayed at 11:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with mass celebrated at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
