Nana, as she was known to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2016. Born in Upper Black Eddy, PA, married in 1941, Evelyn and her husband Robert were lifelong residents of Trenton, New Jersey; she moved to Dallas to be with her family in 2009. Evelyn was a long time employee at The College of New Jersey in student personnel and admissions. She enjoyed quilting, reading, knitting, music, entertaining, and following the weather. Nana was a youthful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Evelyn was the second of seven children to the late Harry and Sarah Moninghoff Houseworth. She is survived by her daughter Linda Richardson Elliott; three granddaughters and spouses, Landice and Alexander Fox, Courtney Elliott, and Bethany and Stephen Holloway; great-grandchildren, her namesake Evelyn Fox, Callan Fox, James and Andrew Itson; her sisters Verna Ullman, Marjorie Ulmer, Betty Harr; as well as many beloved relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Richardson, brothers Dale, Irvin, Earl Houseworth, and son-in-law James Elliott. The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, January 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church.
