Fabien Orlando Bolling was born in Atlanta, GA to Richard Jean-Marie Schulte and Antonitta Unae Bolling on September 20, 1990. After graduating high school, Fabien attended Tuskegee, and Auburn Universities both in Alabama with goals of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He left University Life after 2 years because he had fallen in love with food and cuisine. On May 3, 2017, Fabien was gifted with a golden-haired baby boy, Brayden Orlando Vick-Bolling. He worked as a chef in many facets of the foodservice industry for over eight years. He was a member of the Masonry Fraternity, Lewis Adams Lodge No. 67.
Fabien’s personality is described by his circle as resilient, persistent, goal-oriented, and analytical with a huge heart and a great smile. He was a loving and doting father to an incredibly special son. He always thought about others.
He had a passion for cooking, photography, traveling to new places, being outdoors, enjoying the sound of the beach, feeling the breeze at the mountains, reading cookbooks, and investment books.
Antonitta remembers recent sunny days, watching Fabien playing with Brayden and his friends in the living room, chasing them with plush teddy bears, and acting like the child-at-heart we all know. He was always clowning around. Burning kiddos’ energy while keeping the house warm with laughter. The amount of pride Fabien manifested for his son Brayden is immeasurable. A great father and kind man, his heart was HUGE for all kids.
Most recently, ranked in the top 12 out of 3000 plus competitors from the North and South regions, the Masters of the Craft 2019 - Marriott’s Ultimate Food & Beverage Competition, leading him to nationals in Washington DC with a large, loving family.
Cars, cars, that BMW, Subaru Impreza WRX, and more cars! From singing in the car to riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers, to his strong passion for technical perfection, in and out of the kitchen.
The way he saw life, he enjoyed every little thing about it as he saw the big picture, he dreamed so big, and never took no for an answer. Resilient and persistent, his ability to see the positive in everything was amazing, making the most from each moment.
