Fay Kirk, beloved mother and grandmother, peacefully entered her eternal home on November 24, 2013. Fay was a wonderful example of strength, courage and determination throughout her life. She earned her high school degree in night school and later worked for Dallas Independent School District in addition to being certified for home healthcare. The fifth of eight children, she was curious, spontaneous and full of energy. Born November 12, 1912, in Dallas, Texas, Fay witnessed the invention of the electric washing machine, television and the Internet. She was raised in Terrell, Texas and lived in Dallas most of her life.
Fay is survived by daughter Clarissa Mollenhauer, grandchildren Alissa Kaun, Kyle Kirk, Travis and wife Mandy Kirk, great-grandchildren Ella and Will Kirk and daughter-in-law Kathy Kirk Vogel as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Fay was preceded in death by husband Travis Kirk and son William Travis Kirk.
Services will be conducted at Grove Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park on December 2, at 2:00 p.m.
