

Faye Beverly Livesay, age 96, stepped into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Arlington, Texas. She was born July 19, 1925 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to R.E. Beverly and Lula Hines. Faye was raised in Mt. Vernon and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1942. She married J.W. Livesay in 1946 and the couple had 2 children. She was a billing clerk for First Texas Pharmaceutical where she worked for more than 10 years.
In her spare time, Faye enjoyed crossword puzzles, games shows, bible study, chicken foot and teaching Sunday school for 40 plus years. She was active on the Board of Centenary Methodist Church, now Umphress Road United Methodist Church. Her family and friends will always remember her as a strong and faithful Christian who always extended a helping hand to those who needed it.
Faye is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Livesay; twin brother, Bill Beverly; mother and father as well as brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Don Livesay and wife, Cheryl; daughter, Shirley Agricola and husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Chris Barnett and Ashley Schanlaub and husband, Kenny; great-grandchildren, J.W., Olivia and Meredith and nieces, Letita Beverly, Melissa Harper and husband, Terry and Nikki Mandel and husband, Sam.
A visitation for Faye will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
