Faye Storey, 90 years young, peacefully passed on February 1, 2025. Born in Dallas on August 11, 1934, she cherished her early years with her parents and brother. She and her beloved husband of 62 years, Jim, lovingly reared two daughters, Debbie and Cindy. Faye enjoyed a three decade career as an executive assistant to the administrator of Parkland Hospital. She retired to spend time with her three adored grandchildren, and as Meemaw, she shared games, books, adventures, life lessons, and travel with them. Faye was predeceased by her husband, James G. Storey; her youngest grandchild, Dylan Alexander Simmons; and her son-in-law, Wm. David Simmons. Left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Deborah Storey Simmons and Cynthia Storey Conrad (Dennis); grandchildren, David Andrew Conrad (Kathryn) and Brie Victoria Conrad; great-grandchildren, Alden and Vivian Conrad; and beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be at 3 pm on Thursday, February 6 in the sanctuary of University Park United Methodist Church, 4024 Caruth Blvd., Dallas, 75225.
