

Felicia Dolores Marshall- Freeman, Born in Chicago on January 8th 1955 from John H. Marshall and Katherine H. Marshall. Survived by her husband Lenell Freeman, and sister Trudy Holland-Rosenburg, and daughters Monique Freeman, Dashanna Freeman, grand daughters Star Wilson and Kya Martinez, as well as nephews John Holland, Mark Holland and niece Angela Holland-Wilson, cousins in Chicago. Felicia suffered from multiple sclerosis, she was diagnosed in 1986 and continued working till 1996. She earned an associates degree in Radiology from Midwestern State University in 1990. She was a dedicated sonographer who always put her patients first in her work. She started in radiology at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago 1974 training as an x ray technician, later after getting married in 1979 and moving to Houston, Texas in 1981, she trained as a sonographer at Women's Hospital in Houston. She than dedicated herself to becoming one of the best sonographers in Texas. She took many courses and seminars around the country. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, and after her husband was transferred to Dallas, she worked at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas, as well as many clinics and doctors offices. Visitation Saturday 7/18, at 12-2pm. Service 2PM both at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Reception to follow at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
