Floyd Donald Stevenson, 92, passed away on December 17, 2020 in Caddo Mills, Texas. He was born on November 6, 1928 in Anderson County, Kansas. Floyd proudly served in the Navy for 32 years, attended Emporia Kansas College, and then owned his own Auto Body Shop. He was also a past state deputy for Knights of Columbus. Floyd was a creative and meticulous person who had a talent for carving wood and drawing. His sense of humor was one-of-a-kind and he always had a funny story to share.
Floyd lived a rich life full of love and family. He is preceded in death by his former wife, Ethel Mae, sons Marlin and Floyd Donald, Jr.; parents, Floyd Densmore Stevenson and Dorothy Gladys Spencer Stevenson; siblings, Joy, Judy, Leeta, Mona, Helen, and Larry; grandson, Floyd Donald III; and granddaughter, Mary Ann.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice Adellia Stevenson; children, Ed, Janice, Patricia, Thelma, and Kenny; grandchildren, Rick, Addie, Ryan, Annie, Kasey, Clancey, Shelly, Shan, Chris, and Kelley; daughter-in-law, Dee Pruett; also survived by his brother-in-law of Greeley, Kansas, and sister-in-law of Fate, Texas. His 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren brought him so much joy.
