Frances & Felipe Salinas

Felipe Salinas was born on February 5th, 1942 in la Ceja Municipio de Doctor Coss, Nuevo León to Felipe Salinas Sr. and Maria de Rosario. Frances Salinas was born on October 11, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Francisco Valdez and Esperanza Lopez. Felipe was the second of 12 siblings and is survived by 5 siblings. Frances was the youngest of three children and is survived by one sister. Felipe and Frances met as teenagers at a dance and were married at a young age. Felipe was a charismatic man who worked as a masonry for most of his life and Frances was a caring woman who was a homemaker for most of her life. Together, they worked to turn their families house into a home filled with love that they often opened up to friends and family. They had three children, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Felipe enjoyed taking care of his friends and family and will be remembered for his early morning check in’s and his consistency in calling back when his calls went unanswered. Frances was rooted in faith and will be remembered for her strength and compassion during times of tribulation. Felipe and Frances fell ill in October of 2021 and after health complications, joined their loved ones in heaven. They are preceded in death by their son, Phillip Salinas, Jr.; their daughter, Rebecca Garcia; granddaughter, Mandy Salinas; and their parents. They are survived by their daughter, Natalie Garcia; grandchildren, Yuri Ramirez, Merari Garcia, Gabrielle Garcia, Chelsey Davis; and their great grandchildren, Emma Ramirez, Rose Ramirez, and Edward Ramirez. Both will be remembered for the impact left on their family, friends, and community.

Felipe Salinas nació el 5 de febrero del 1942 en la Ceja Municipio de Doctor Coss, Nuevo León de Felipe Salinas Sr. y Maria de Rosario. Frances Salinas nació el 11 de octubre, 1946 en Dallas, Texas de Francisco Valdez y Esperanza Lopez. Felipe fue el segundo de 12 hermanos y le sobreviven 5 hermanos. Frances fue la menor de tres hijos y le sobrevive una hermana. Felipe y Frances se conocieron cuando eran adolescentes en un baile y se casaron a una edad temprana. Felipe era un hombre carismático que trabajó como albañil durante la mayor parte de su vida y Frances fue una mujer cariñosa fue ama de casa durante la mayor parte de su vida. Juntos, trabajaron para convertir la casa de su familia en un hogar lleno de amor que a menudo abrían a amigos y familiares. Tuvieron tres hijos, cinco nietos y tres bisnietos. Felipe disfrutó cuidando a sus amigos y familiares y será recordado por sus llamadas tan temprano en la mañana y su consistencia al devolver las

llamadas cuando sus llamadas no fueron respondidas. Frances estaba arraigada en la fe y será recordada por su fuerza y compasión durante tiempos de tribulación.

Felipe y Frances enfermaron en octubre de 2021 y tras complicaciones de salud, se unieron a sus seres queridos en el cielo. Les precedieron en la muerte su hijo Phillip Salinas Jr., su hija Rebecca García, su nieta Mandy Salinas y sus padres. Les sobreviven su hija Natalie García, sus nietos Yuri Ramirez, Merari García, Gabrielle García, Chelsey Davis y sus bisnietos Emma Ramirez, Rose Ramirez y Edward Ramirez. Ambos serán recordados por el impacto dejado en su familia, amigos y comunidad.
