Francis Dwight Munsterman

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am, Saturday, January 4th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9643 Ferndale Rd. Dallas, TX 75238. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.

Frank was born in Jerseyville, Illinois to Francis and Katherine (Keyser) Munsterman on November 7, 1929. After graduating from Jerseyville Community High School in 1947, he went on to graduate from The University of St. Louis in 1951 with a bachelor’s degree in Business. While in the service overseas, he met and married Virginia Alice McMahon on March 2nd, 1957 in Paris, France.

After making his home in Dallas in 1960, he spent his career as a real estate representative for Gulf Oil, and then as a real estate appraiser with Michael Massey until he retired in 2009.

Frank enjoyed the outdoors. He, along with his sons, were involved for many years in Boy Scout Troop 563, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and Troop 176 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents F.A. and K.K. Munsterman, his brother Robert Munsterman, and sister Jane (Munsterman) Cornell.

He is survived by his wife Virginia, sons Michael Munsterman and partner Kent Fredrick, Wayne Munsterman, Paul Munsterman and wife, Sharon LeJeune; daughters Linda Munsterman, Laura Lambert, brother Phil Munsterman, sister Marilyn Munsterman and husband, Charles Berberich, and also grandchildren Aiden, Isabelle, Samantha and Grace, and great grandson Emory.
