

Frank Snider Groseclose was born June 4th, 1935 in Houston, TX. He passed from this life due to complications of hip fracture at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas TX to be with his Lord and Savior on July 2nd, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Snider Groseclose and father, Frank Edwin Groseclose. The family moved from Houston TX to Dallas in 1938. Frank attended schools in the Highland Park ISD and graduated in 1953. He continued his education at Southern Methodist University where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and graduated from SMU Cox School of Business in 1957 and New York Institute of Finance in 1958. The Dallas Security Dealers Association elected Frank as their President in 1972, and he served as Director of the Chicago Board of Trade in 1975 and 1976. In addition, he served as Director in 1986 of the Dallas Security Dealers Association. Upon retirement, Frank and his wife of 46 years, Linda, fulfilled their dream of living in the Texas Hill country. Frank served his community, participating in the Lions Club as well as enjoying hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife Linda, Frank is survived by four daughters, Laura Anthony of San Antonio TX, Christine Nix (John) of Squim, WA, Stacy Smoot (Brannan) of Austin TX, and Stephanie Krejs (Oliver) of Dallas TX; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Frank’s humor and lively personality will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Service will be held at 2pm Sunday, July 14th, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225.
