My uncle most Handsome  uncle one could have . Out side uncle Leonard just in case he’s reading this laugh out loud uncle Fred always had that smiling face always felt warm and secure didn’t have enough time with him and I always get them in the back of my mind love you Fred rest with Jesus

Fred was such a caring man. I met him and Peggy when Angela moved to Utah. I worked in the nursing home she was in. They taught us how they had been caring for her. It was so tender to see their love for Angela. I still have the angels they gave us for Christmas. I have MS like Angela and we had a special bond. After she passed Fred & Peggy kept in touch. They came to my wedding and we also had a special bond as we were Christians. My husband passed away around the time Peggy passed away. Fred was so encouraging to me. I will miss his warm smile and big hugs. Thankful we have the assuance that we will see each other again because we have accepted Christ into our lives..that is what he would want for everyone to have in their lives. Till we meet again my friend. 

Fred was a very kind and compassionate person.  Shortly after he married my mother, Peggy,  my sister Angela became bedridden from severe multiple sclerosis and came to live with the two of them.  Fred was a dedicated caretaker of Angela for many years until her early death in 2001.  He spent countless hours both attending to Angela's ever increasing care requirements as well as lifting her spirits with his cheerful demeanor.  Angela really loved Fred and considered him to be a father figure.  My mother was also so very appreciative of Fred's unwavering support during this difficult time for the family.   I'm sure that Fred is now enjoying a happy reunion with Angela and she is again thanking him for all his love and dedication. 

I am proud to say dad served our country in the U.S. Navy.  This is a picture of his graduating class.  Sorry for the poor picture quality. 

I've never seen a man love his father like my father loved his dad.  Grandpa passed on dad's 32nd or 33rd birthday, and he struggled with the loss for years. For almost a year he stopped by to "visit" with grandpa every day when he got off of work in Downtown Dallas. 
Later he often locked himself in his office, on his birthday, and sat and listened to an old reel-to-reel recording of grandpa talking.
This is a great consolation. Dad was more and more vexed each day by the state of our world, and to think he and grandpa are now reunited, is the most blessed thought one could keep in mind at this time. 

Dad, and his brothers, "back in the day."  Best uncles a fellow could ever hope to have.  Love you both Uncle Leonard, and Uncle Doug. God bless you in this time of grief.

In loving memory of my father, whom will be missed the remainder of my life.  Dad had a thirst for knowledge which I inherited. He encouraged the practice of reading by bringing me home hundreds of books from library sales, and the rest I sought out myself. 
I consider my father a brave and adventurous soul, and this trait was what allowed me--in emulation--to pursue my second career in Law Enforcement. A time which gave us both such pride and sense of accomplishment. Without his encouragement I would have never been able to even believe I could accomplish such a goal. 
Relationships are not always easy, and often misunderstood, but for those who trust in Christ, we fully understand there will be a day when all is well, and the issues which were difficult in this life will be swept away, and we will be one in The Lord.
