Freida Carol Latimer Dodson was born on November 26, 1949 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 29, 2019. She was born in Dallas, Texas at Baylor Hospital and lived in Dallas her entire life. Freida loved her family with all of her heart, but more than anything, she loved Jesus. She woke up each morning for most of her life and could be found at the kitchen table, sipping a cup of coffee while reading her Bible, doing her devotions, and praying for others. She was fun-loving, cheerful, and full of life. She always had a smile on her beautiful face.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Dorothy Latimer and her grandson, Max Petty. She is survived by her husband, Charles Dodson; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Rhonda Dodson; daughter and son-in-law, Collette and Ed Petty; grandchildren, Chuck, Lindsay, Rebecca, Jonathan and Benjamin; and great-grandsons, Michael, Thomas, and Elliott.
