Gail Lee Valencia

Gail Lee Valencia, maiden name Keith, passed away on Monday November 15th in Dallas, Texas, two days before her 47th birthday. Gail was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on November 17th, 1974 to Roberta Lee Keith and Larry James Keith. Her father preceded her in death on June 1st, 1980. She was one of five. She grew up in Altoona, Pennsylvania graduating from Altoona HIgh School in 1993.

It was through mutual friends she met the love of her life, Carlos Valencia, in her hometown. They were young, but it was evident they were a match made in heaven. Years later Gail and Carlos opened up their very own family pizza shop in town, Los's Pizza, with their four kids eager to help check out customers behind the counter. However, it was time for a new adventure and they made the bold move to Mesquite, Texas which has been their home since 2003. They were together for a total of 26 years, 18 years married, at the time of her death.

Gail was competitive and stubborn, never wanting to concede. She spent her free time playing billiards with her husband and adult children, talking shit every step of the way. When she wasn't winning billard's trophies, she was playing bingo, six cards at a time and all. She was determined to win, whatever it took. During the summer she would spend almost every waking moment in her backyard pool, teaching her grandchildren to swim, and hanging out with her family. It was so simple, yet a perfect way to spend a hot summer day. Chewing crushed Sonic ice all the while of course.

Gail was a force to be reckoned with. She lived her life her way, never losing who she was no matter which stage of life she was in. She loved those around her fiercely, especially her family. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were everything to her. She was free spirited, full of life, and was a light in every room. She was a firecracker.

Gail is survived by her husband, Carlos Luis Valencia; children, Larry Michael Keith and wife Cali, Dominic Luis Valencia, Jessica Lee Walter and husband Kevin, Tristyn Lee Valencia and husband Jacob; grandchildren, Isaac Valencia Walter, Noah Michael Keith, Emilee Marie Dillen, and Kylar Lynn Oliver; mother, Roberta Lee Keith; and siblings, Sheryl Fisher, Travis Keith, Jason Keith, Jennifer Nicolini."
