Genevieve (Jenny) Lillian Bell nee Olson, born March 31, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Frederick Olson and Susan Olson nee Waters, passed from natural causes in her home on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
Jenny was raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin and graduated from Holy Angels in 1954. She also served in the Air Force. She married Alva Gene Sr. in 1956 and the couple had eight children. She was a waitress, housewife, and mail carrier.
In her spare time, Genevieve enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, dominoes and spending time with friends and her grandkids. Her family and friends will always remember her as a sweet, kind lady, who was loud at times when calling for dinner or inside at night. She also loved Elvis Presley.
She was the youngest of 9 children, Luella, Caroline, Frederick, Katherine, Frances, Charles, Beverly, and Marie, who all preceded her in death.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Alva Gene Bell Sr., her two sons, Alva Gene Bell Jr. and William Jerry Bell, as well her son-in-law Randall Dean Whitaker.
She is survived by her remaining 6 children and their spouses, Robert Lynn (Donna) Bell, Elizabeth {Betty} Ann (Roberto) Martinez, Brenda Kay Whitaker, Scott Joseph (Brenda) Bell Sr., Jeffery Allen Bell, Jean Marie (Floyd Carley) Johnson, and her 2 daughter-in-laws Norma Bell and Pamela White Bell. As well as, her 15 grandchildren, Jeremy Shane Walker, Jerry Eugene Bell, Christopher Lee Bell, Justin Corey Bell, Joshua Lee Bell, Scott Allen Simpson, Robert Douglas Simpson, Camilo Joseph Martinez, Debra Kay Whitaker, Stephanie Denise Mabire, Justin Clifford Morgan Smith, Scott Joseph Bell Jr., Matthew John Bell Sr., Anthony Coy Johnson, and Valarie Marie Johnson. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild on the way.
