I believe this is the man who knew my recently deceased mother very well back in the 60’s and early 70’s. I have boxes and piles of letters, post cards, and gifts he sent to her during his time overseas while stationed mainly in Japan. The dates and description seem to match up. He has the most beautiful handwriting and is eloquent with words. If his family gets this message, find me in Facebook.

I was George's Sgt back in the 80s. George impressed me the first time I met him. George was a “ Gentle Giant “.  He was one of the best officers I ever worked with and everyone could always count on him, on and off duty. George never complained and I always received compliment on him from officers and citizens alike.  Rest easy George, we have the watch from here my friend. 

You will be missed. God Bless your family at this difficult time.
