George Forsyth Breen III, age 73 of Dallas, Texas died on Monday, December 28, 2015 in his home surrounded by family. He was born April 7, 1942 in Daytona Beach, Florida to George Forsyth Breen Jr. and Dorothy Meachem Breen. George is survived by his wife, Susie Strauss Breen of Dallas, Texas; three children, Natalie Catherine Breen, Ruth Ellen Kokkinakis and Richard Alan Breen; seven grandchildren; one sister, Donna Breen Hofmann; one brother, Roderick Alan Breen; a dear friend, Patricia Ann Sewell and many, loving nieces and nephews. Because of his love and devotion to our country, George served as a Lieutenant in the United States Army. He was a business owner, entrepreneur and salesman. George was an avid golfer, fisherman, and he loved the Atlanta Braves. Above all, George Breen loved his family, his faith, and his friends. The memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 12 o’clock noon in the Northwest Highway Chapel of Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Faith Presbyterian Hospice, The Wounded Warriors Project or VNA, Meals on Wheels.
