Gerry Victor Hennig

Gerry Victor Hennig, age 65, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023. He was born on December 5, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to John Victor and Wilma Eulene Hennig. Gerry was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1975 and attended Baylor University from 1975-1978. He married Lizeth on October 16, 1998 and the couple had two children. Gerry was a engineering technician at TxDot where he worked for more than 25 years.

In his spare time Gerry enjoyed playing sports especially football, softball, golf and basketball and coaching sports, especially football. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed his fantasy football league and had an insatiable love of Dr. Pepper and Heinz Ketchup. His friends and family will always remember him as a fun, loving, caring and extremely competitive person especially when it comes to sports and his fantasy football.

Gerry is preceded in death by his parents John "Vic" Victor Hennig and Wilma Eulene Moore Hennig. He is survived by his loving wife, Lizeth Hennig and sons, Gerry Victor Hennig II and James Montgomery Hennig.
