Gertrude Joy Lowthian Key. She was known as Trudy Key. September 22, 1924 - April 28th, 2013. She is preceded in death by her loving husband James C. Key, Jr. of Dallas, Texas. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Ruth Lasater, Mark Lowthian, and Paul Lowthian. She is survived by her sons Carl Key and Paul Key both of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by two sisters Iva Jane Zakit and Alice Wells both of California.
Trudy graduated in 1942 from Coronado High School in California. She was an AT&T long distance switchboard operator during WWII. Later in life she held several positions as receptionist/book-keeper. She was a member of Park Cities Baptist Church and Cosmos Book Club. Her lifelong passions centered around music (violin and voice).
She lived Proverbs 31:10-31. May God continue to bless her and those she loved.
