Gloria Eden, beloved mother and grandmother sadly passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 92 in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Hale, Texas to Rubie and Bob Ratjen on March 15, 1933. Gloria grew up on a farm in Floydada, Texas and moved to Dallas as a young woman, where she went to work for Texas Instruments. It is there that she met her husband of 53 years, Dayton, with whom she raised three children. She was a very kind, loving and thoughtful woman who also had a sharp wit and great sense of humor. She was a devout Christian and member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas for over 60 years. She had a strong moral compass and faith that she instilled in her children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dayton, her mother and father, and twin sister, Gleva Smith. She is survived by her sister Ardis Daniel, her three children, Helen Carona, her husband John and their two children, Kirsten and Kellen, Gina Bombere, her husband, Eric, and their children, Emily and Blake, and David Eden and his daughter, Morgan, along with her nieces and nephews and their families. She will be greatly missed and treasured.
