Gloria Grills Elphand, 94, of Memphis, TN, and Dallas, TX, died May 24. A fashion model in NY with the John Robert Powers Agency. Gloria was married in 1954 to J. George Elphand until his death in 1995. Together they toured the country in the fashion trade before settling in Dallas in 1966, building their business at Dallas Int'l Apparel Mart. Gloria was a regal lady, devoted mother, thoughtful and kind. Daughter of Margaret Tambini and Benton Turner Grills. Predeceased by son Edward, brother Richard Barbee Grills and sister Joy West. Survived by daughter Ellen Margaret, Ellen's partner, Dwain Wilson and many nieces and nephews.
