Gloria P. Ortega passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the age of 83. Gloria was born in Kaufman, Texas July 7, 1927 to Ignacio & Sara (Luis) Pena. She was preceded in death by her husband Felipe C. Ortega. She is survived by children, Felix P. Ortega, Gloria O. Gamez, Ray P. Ortega, Dolores O. Silva, Delia O. Hernandez & Lydia Escamilla; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held Saturday March 19, 2011 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and again on Sunday from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday, March 21, 2011 in the North Mausoleum Chapel at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Interment to follow.
