Gloria Price

Gloria Jean Wise was born June 3, 1936, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully at home the morning of December 1, 2020. She married Robert Price in 1951. Gloria often said, "I married in 1951, had a baby in 1952, 1953, and 1954. My husband had an uncle who was a doctor and he fixed that problem."

Gloria was a dedicated wife for 39 years and has been a dedicated mother for 68 years. Nothing came between her and her family. Well, except for her dogs. When one of her daughters came to visit and smelled the pot roast cooking, Gloria was quick to tell her, "That's for the dog. We're having hot dogs."

Gloria was a member of Life Church in Daingerfield, TX, and was very fond of her pastor Shelby Crump.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Price, her mother Rosa Mae Wise Urich, and her father John Henry Wise. She is survived by her brother Herschel Wise and wife Judy, niece Janee' Myers and husband Nick, nephew Steve Wise and wife Dana, daughter Lajean Bumbalough and husband Robert of Balch Springs, Texas, her daughters Lanette Andrews and Terri Schell of Daingerfield, TX, grandchildren Tracy Rutherford and husband Steve of Flower Mound, TX, Kara Thompson of Hughes Springs ,TX,

BJ Price of Ore City, TX, and Derek Baise and wife Courtney of Benton, AR, 12 great grandsons, 3 great granddaughters, and 3 great great grandsons. She has been matriarch of a five generation family for nine years and will be greatly missed.
