

Gloria was raised in Dallas, Texas (Little Mexico) and attended/graduated from Crozier Technical High School in 1968. She was divorced from Daniel Quiros and they had one daughter, Francisca Herrera. She also divorced Juan A. Romo and they had four children; Tomasa Haywood, Jesusa Romo, Juana Romo and Erica Trahan.
She was retired from Texas Instruments where she worked for more than fifteen years.
In her spare time Gloria enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and talking on the phone with her siblings. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo and Venturita Herrera.
She is survived by her five daughters, Francis Herrera, Tomasa Haywood, Jesusa Romo, Juana Romo, Erica Trahan, twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Valentin Herrera, Lorenzo Herrera Sr., Richard Cantu Sr., Rosie Mendoza, Janie Medrano, Judy Ann Mercado and Irene Ruiz.
Gloria was a special education teacher at Dan D. Rodgers and loved helping and teaching her students.
