

He is survived by his loving wife, Esther Martinez Cazares and sons, Paul, Erasmo (Moe), and Reynaldo Cazares (Nano) grandchildren: Janiscia, Erica, Erasmo, Jr., Priscilla, Robert, Reynaldo,Jr., Desiree, Isabel, Sophia, Marcus, Giselle, Savella, Jasmine, Anaya, & Natalie. Sisters: Josefina (Fina) Maria (Mere)
Gonzalo was preceded in death by parents Desiderio and Petra Cazares, Sons:Raymond Ramones, Gonzalo Martinez Cazares (Pipo), Brothers: Pedro,Juan, Ignacio, & Manuel, Sisters: Sofia, Esperanza, Lupe & Maria Elisa (Lecha).
Upon marrying his wife Esther in 1957 he began working at the Dallas Power & Light company now know as, TXU in the city of Dallas. He had many friends and was known as “Hairs” He enjoyed his job & he always remembered that when Dallas has severe thunderstorms and worked late through the night to get electricity restored to the community, the company would take the employees out for steak dinners. He appreciated the company for treating him well and for the years they gave him a stable job to provide for his family. He worked for the company for 31 years and in 1995 he retired.
Baseball was one of his favorite sports . He joined co-workers as they put together a team. Gonzalo played first base. His sons often accompanied him to his games and would cheer him on. He loved live wrestling and would take his sons to The Sportatorium every Tuesday.
Gonzalo also took up fishing after retirement. He and his son Gonzalo, Jr. & granddaughter Erica would find a nice fishing spot and spend several hours fishing.
The latter years of his life were spent at home with his wife & family.
