Graciela Renteria

Graciela Galvan Renteria, 82, of Durango, Mexico, passed away on April 3, 2019 in Dallas.

Rosary and Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9th and Wednesday, April 10th from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Rosary for each day at 7:00pm, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 11th at St. Edward’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park located at 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.

Graciela Galvan Renteria was born in Durango, Mexico to Magdalena Ortega and Domingo Galvan on January 3, 1937. She married Alejandro Renteria in Durango, Mexico. They were married for 55 years.

Graciela Galvan Renteria is survived by her husband Alejandro Renteria, daughter Iracema Renteria and husband Ebelardo Faz, son Alejandro Renteria Jr and daughter Cecilia Renteria and son in law Norman Davalos-Rapp. Grandchildren Andrew Jospeh Faz and granddaughter Isabela Grace Davalos. She is also survived by her siblings Delmira Ortega Santos and family, Jesus Galvan, Irma Galvan Rodriguez and family and Yolanda Galvan Dominguez and family.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Joseph Faz, Jaziel Gonzalez, Jesus Santos, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Pedro Ramirez, Enrique Diaz and Jose Diaz and Alejandro Renteria Jr.

The Renteria family wish to extend our sincere thanks to the entire Faz Family, Dr. Angel Salazar and the staff of White Rock Family Clinic, St. Edwards Catholic Church clergy and parishioners and the compassionate doctor’s and staff of Baylor Medical Center Dallas and Davita Dialysis Center. We would also like to express sincere gratitude to all our extended family, friends and neighbors that offered their condolences, prayers and support.
