Gretchen Dudley

Gretchen Dudley, born on December 3, 1966, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at 10:24 AM. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met.

Gretchen was married to her devoted husband, Jerry Dudley, for 38 years. She was the proud mother of three children: Dameon Dudley (Linda), Jeremey Dudley, and Ashley Dudley. She adored her two grandchildren, Adara McBeth and Amiyah Crosby, who she treasured her time with and brought her immense joy.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Gloria Mickens, and her bonus father, Donald Freeman-Bey. She was preceded in death by her father, Otha Aaron Sr. and her brother Otha Aaron Jr. Gretchen will be dearly missed by her siblings: Shon A. Allen, Gregory Aaron (Ester), Sonya A. Kelley (Rodney), Donna M. Allen, and Andrea “Nikki” Aaron-Glenn (Aundre).

A graduate of South Oak Cliff High School, Gretchen had achievements as a real estate agent, and she dedicated 22 years of service to the United States Postal Service as a postal carrier and trainer. She was a beautiful and friendly soul who never met a stranger.

In addition to her immediate family, Gretchen is survived by her loving mother-in-law, Gloria Dudley, as well as her many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cherished cousins, and dear nieces and nephews. She formed lasting bonds with numerous friends and extended family members who will miss her warmth, kindness, and radiant spirit.

Her memory will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.
