Guadalupe Aguilar Bibanco was born on December 13, 1936 in Alamagordo, New Mexico. He passed on June 3, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ricardo and Paulina Vivanco; his brothers and sisters: Matilde Vivanco, Natividad Vivanco, Inez Vivanco, Esperanza Ortiz, and Francisca Vivanco. His adoptive parents: Felipe and Luisa Fierro; his stepbrothers: Joe Fierro, Paul Fierro and Jesus Fierro.
He is survived by his wife: Cecilia Vasquez Bibanco; his children: Guadalupe Herrera, Patricia Nava, Larry Bibanco, David Bibanco, Victor Bibanco (Socorro Villagran), and Rosie Bibanco. His grand children: Ernestina Bibanco, Kristin Herrera, Andrew Bibanco (Keylin Bibanco), Blanca Nava, Margarita Rodríguez, Yvonne R. Dominguez (Victor Dominguez), Briana Bibanco, Christopher Bibanco, Jean Anne Collins (Hector Samuel Lerma), Anthony Bibanco Valencia ( Jennifer Solomon), Marco Bibanco Valencia (Anjelika Callado), Jose Bibanco Valencia and Leonel Herrera, Jr.

Guadalupe was a loving father, grand father and great grand father; he met each person with gentle understanding and forgiveness which allowed him to give each of his children, grand children and great grand children something special to keep in their hearts. He believed in passing on a blessing; he was a man of deep faith.
He volunteered to go into the U.S. Army at the age of 17. He worked for 26 years as a Golf Superintendent and managed the construction project of Vista Hills Country Club located in El Paso, Texas. He was an avid golfer and shared his love for the sport with each of his children. He owned his own landscaping company for over 12 years sharing the love of God’s gifts found in nature with his children. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing golf, domino’s, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with family.
A visitation is scheduled to be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, the 9th day of June 2020 from 5-7pm. Rev. Salvador Guzman will be the celebrant of the Mass of Burial which will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church located at 3030 Gus Thomasson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228 on Wednesday, the 10th day of June 2020 at 2pm. A private inurnment will be scheduled for the family at a later date; his final resting place will be at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
