Guadalupe Rodriguez Romero, born August 28, 1917 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. At the tender age of 1, she traveled to the United States and resided in Carrizo Springs, Texas for 50 years. In the year 1935 she married Fredrico Romero Sr. and gave birth to 10 children. After 22 years of marriage, her husband passed away leaving her to raise her children alone. In 1968, Guadalupe and her children moved to Dallas, Texas where she eventually passed. Guadalupe lived a long, loving life surrounded by family and friends. She was very fortunate to have been blessed by so many. In return, her family was blessed to have been granted so many years in her presence. She is preceded in death by her husband and one daughter. She is survived by five daughters, four sons, and an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. “Buela” as she was referred to was deeply loved and will forever be missed. The family will receive friends, Sunday, December 9, 2012, from 10:00AM until 8:00 PM, with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held, 12:00 Noon, Monday, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1801 W. Davis, Dallas.
