Guadalupe Sharp

December 10, 1949 – July 7, 2026

Guadalupe was born on December 10, 1949, in Brownsville, Texas, to Epifanio Hernandez Sr. and Rafaela Beltran Hernandez. She was born and raised in Brownsville before making her way to Dallas, Texas. Here she spent much of her life surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

On September 30, 1977, she married Marvin B. Sharp in Dallas, Texas. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and lasting memories.

Guadalupe was a devoted mother to her three children, David Hernandez, Kimberly Sharp, and Brian Sharp. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Dez Hernandez, Diamond Hernandez, and Angelina Gaines, who brought her endless joy and pride.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin B. Sharp, and her beloved grandson, Angel Gaines.

Guadalupe will be remembered for her contagious laugh, beautiful smile, kind heart, incredible strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. She was the heart of her family—a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth made everyone feel welcome. Her love, wisdom, and compassion touched countless lives and will continue to live on through all who knew her.

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the many memories she gave us and the legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
