

Guillermo was raised in Ocampo, Coahuila, Mexico where he attended public school. He was a butcher by trade and worked at many meat markets, but ultimately retired from Fiesta Food Market. Guillermo loved to stay busy even in his spare time, but he always made time for baseball.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lopez; son, Chris Aechternacht; grandson, Joshua Carson; mom, Luisa Partida; dad, Ascension Lopez; six brothers and two sisters.
Guillermo is survived by his brother, Fidencio Lopez; sister, Juanita Lopez; daughter, Beth Aechternacht; Trish Brady and husband, Randy Brady; son, Mike Aechternacht and wife, Johna Aechternacht; grandchildren, Joshua Carson, Brayan Aechternacht, Crystal Aechternacht, John Brady, Chad Aultman, Staci Piner, Josh Derrington, Cody Almendarez, Dakota Day along with fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
“Our sweet Dad and Papaw will be greatly missed. You now walk with Jesus and mom. Your job here is now done. Rest in peace sweet man.”
A visitation for Guillermo will be held from 10am - 12pm on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N. Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75247. Following the visitation, a Graveside service will be held at 2pm at the Sardis Cemetery, 6101 Honeysuckle Rd, Midlothian, TX 76065. Pastor John Horton Officiant.
