Gust Ray Simon, Sr. passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 90; born February 21, 1936, in Bloomburg, Texas, Gust Ray lived in Dallas, Texas.

Visitation will be held at Mt Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 3700 Simpson Stuart Road, Dallas, Texas 75241, on August 27, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Mt Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 3700 Simpson Stuart Road, Dallas, Texas 75241, on August 28, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.

A Committal Service will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75232, on August 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

Final resting place is Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas.
