Hal was born May 9, 1919 in Gilmer, TX and passed away June 5, 2011 in Carrollton, TX. He is survived by son, Richard Smith and wife, Gail; daughter, Linda Smith; grandchildren, Troy Smith and wife, Leslie, Scott Smith great-grandchildren, Annie, Suzanna, Hal III; nephew, James W. Eubanks and a niece, Betty Jean Kelley. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. and Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 both at the funeral home and in the Grove Hill Serenity Chapel. Burial to follow after services in Grove Hill Memorial Park.
