Harry Bruce Eames, Sr., 69, passed away March 14, 2019 in Tyler, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born June 8, 1949 in Alexandria, Virginia to Harry Hallisey and Gloria Elizabeth Tittle-Eames. Harry served this country in the Marines and retired from the Army after serving in Vietnam and was a lifetime member of VFW-6796 in Dallas, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his first love, Carol Evelyn; parents, Harry Hallisey Eames and Gloria Elizabeth Tittle-Eames and sister, Mary Eames Griffiths and husband, Donald Griffiths.

Harry is survived by his loving wife of almost 23 years Earlene Eames; children, Harry Eames, Jr and wife, Kayla, Thomas Cerveny and significant other, Amy Baker, John Cerveny and significant other, Teresa Messer, Jerrod Cerveny and significant other, Jennifer Stewart and Jennifer Stealey and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Zachary Eames, Jessica Cerveny, Christian Cerveny, Mary Burkett, Billy Baker, Tristen Stealey, Raymond Stealey, Katelynn Messer, Jacob Cerveny, Joseph Cerveny, Angel Cerveny, Abel Cerveny and Katie Pryor; great-grandchildren, Athena Grace Cerveny, Jursea Hill, Jurnea Hill, Jaedyn Hill and Rakya Hill and siblings, Debbie Eames Reinosa and husband, Gonzalo, Michael Eames and wife, Karleen, Donna Eames Murphy and husband, David and Patricia Eames Candler and husband Charles and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20 from 5-7pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Services with military honors will be Thursday, March 21 at 2pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
