Hector Manuel Cortez, age 80, passed away on July 19, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 28, 1940 in Cloete Coahuila Mexico to Felix Cortez and Sara Ramirez. Hector Manuel Cortez was raised in Cloete Coahuila. He married Maria Hortencia Morales in 1966 and the couple had three children.
In his spare time, Hector enjoyed going fishing and to baseball games. His family and friends will always remember him as a wonderful man, loving husband, dad, uncle, brother, grandad and the best great grand father.
He is preceded in death by Maria Hortencia Morales.
He is survived by his three children, Hector Cortez Jr., Gricelda Cortez, Sahra Isabel Cortez; sister, Argelia Hernandez; seven grandchildren, Itzel, Carlos, Felix, Maritza, Jacqueline, Angelique, Karla; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
