Hector enlisted in the military where he was honorably discharged in 1973. He then attended El Centro College in Dallas and received his Associates in Business Administration in 1978. Hector was a business man, collector and Christian who loved his family and friends. Hector loved to dance and loved his Tejano music. Hector also liked to Bar B Que and watch football. Hector was preceded in death by his mom, Alicia P. Martinez and siblings, Martin Hernandez and Caterina M. DeLuna.
Hector is survived by his children; Christi Johnson (Jonathan), Kimberly Hernandez, Stephanie Hernandez, Rocky Hernandez and Roma Hernandez (Cindy), grandchildren; Titan Johnson, Jacob Hernandez, Joseph Hernandez, Joshua Hernandez, Anjanette Castillo, Alex Castillo, Mark Castillo, Jada Castillo, Izek Castillo and T.C. Hernandez (The Cat), siblings; Basilio Aguero, Dalia Hernandez, Hope Martinez and Ramon Hernandez, and many other extended family members and friends.
