Helen Maurine Hurley, born March 21, 1915 in Alvarado, Texas, joined her husband C.I. Don Hurley in eternity on July 31, 2012. Helen is survived by her son Tom Hurley, grandsons Mark Hurley and Gary Cooper and great grandchildren Gracie Hurley, Gabby Hurley, Torie Cooper and Truman Cooper. Helen served as Staff Sargent Signal Corps in the United States Army during World War II. A life member of Ross Ave Baptist Church and past President of Yellow Rocker Square Dance Club, Helen will be missed by many friends and relatives. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service with honors will be on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Sparkman Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel with burial to follow.
