Helen Wilma Michaels

My sister was a beautiful and talented person whom I admired and loved dearly. We were ten years apart in age so I could look up to her and I did. She could sew, design and make dresses and costumes, for family that were amazing. First she made me a formal evening dress so I could sing in the choir in High School. She made her mother the most beautiful turquoise silk dress with an overlay lace coat to match for our parents 50th Anniversary. When Mama Kirk died in 1999, I received permission from Helen to have her buried in that dress. Her musical talent on the piano was outstanding as well. Many have heard and loved listening to her play. Love, Kathleen Kyles
