Helen Wunsch, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died on Saturday, September 28, 2019, a short time after celebrating her 95th birthday. Helen was born September 16, 1924, to Mollie and Max Burg in Brooklyn, New York. Helen worked for Neiman Marcus for twenty years. She was well known for beautiful needle point designs and, in recent years, for crocheting scarves for the homeless. She loved to travel with her husband and they took numerous trips and cruises to Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and Israel. Helen and her family were members of Congregation Shearith Israel for sixty eight years. The matriarch of the family, Helen will be missed by her children and their spouses: Bobbie Wunsch of San Anselmo, California; Rochelle & Lee Wunsch of Houston, Texas; and Karen & Alan Katz of Dallas, Texas. The Wunsch family is grateful for the wonderful care provided by her dear friends and caregivers: Eunice Webber, Maureen Gbr and Anita Mungai.
