

Henry "Hank" Stillings, 97, went home to meet his Lord on April 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye, his mother, father, sister and his grandson, Kevin Boykin. He is survived by his daughter Beverley, son-in-law John Boykin. Grandchildren Shean Boykin, Shannon Coleman and husband Terry, Colleen Dean and husband Jake. Nephew, Paul Wayne McDowell and wife, Laurie. Great-Grandchildren Megan, Regan and Carlton Boykin, Madeleine and Jon Guy, Jamie and Amanda Spurgeon, Julia Mae Staley. Great-great grandchildren, Kaleb, Colin, Ryan and Chance.
Hank was born March 3, 1917 in Grand Saline, TX. After meeting his beloved Faye at a tent revival at 17, they spent a wonderful 75 years together in Dallas, TX. They were avid Rockhounds, active in their Baptist church Senior Citizens Group.Hank served in the 15th Airborne in World War II. He flew missions, as navigator in the B24 Liberator, into Germany and Austria from bases in North Africa and Italy. After the war, he was a Master Carpenter and worked many years in construction.
Family Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7:pm. Funeral Services will be held 10:00am, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Grove Hill Funeral Chapel with burial to follow.
