Henry Mae Melton was born January 27th, 1925 in Calvert, TX to the parentage of Guy Melton and Mattie Giddings. She spent her childhood in Calvert and was educated in the Robertson County School District. On Saturday, February 26th she received the call that only she could answer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Giles D. Melton and her sister Earlene Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Elaine Henderson (spouse, Clint) of Dallas, TX; Phyllis Williams of Irving,TX; one son, Henry Melton of Dallas; two sisters: Ernestine Madison of Irving, TX and Mildred Dancer of Dallas, TX; one brother Rev. Guy C. Melton and wife Marion of Kilgore, TX; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2011 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
